Exclusively made for us by Steady Betty, the premier pressing board with two sides - 100% felted wool and Steady Betty foam on the other. Unlike the wool mats that allow heat and steam to penetrate the wool, there is minimal heat transfer through the board due to its' unique core construction. The foam side holds fabric so it will not move, stretch or distort. Both sides have perfect cushioning to create a professional finish to your project eliminating seam impressions and creating a clean finish.

It's perfect!

I wanted to set my sewing space up similar to the way Lori Holt has hers. This pressing mat is the perfect size. Just as advertised the heat does not transfer to the surface underneath. I'm not sure why all wool pressing mats are so expensive, but, it is what it is I guess. Fortunately I bought the mat on sale.

Very thin!

I am so diappointed. It clearly is not worth the money. It is maybe a quarter inch of wool. I haven't tried it yet but it doesn't feel like it will hold up to the heat. I was expecting it to be reversable, but the foam side looks like something I would not be comfortable ironing on.

Love the wooly board but feel its expensive. Waited to by when it went on sale and used my quilters cash. Would not buy at regular price.
