1/4 lb Butcher Counter Fabric

I visited about the 2nd week the shop had opened. The clerk allowed me to choose my "cuts" which were jelly roll strips in purple. They were weighed, and wrapped in a brown butcher paper. I chose purples and there was plenty of variety. The cost, however, is overpriced. 3 yards of fabric weighs approximately 1 pound. There is about 3 yards of fabric in a jelly roll. 1/4 pound of these jelly roll strips were $15.95. Multiply 1/4 of a pound times 4 to equal a pound means a jelly roll at this rate...

I had a really great time picking out the 10” squares I wanted to buy at the butcher shop. I mostly got Tula Pink fabrics, but it was so fun. I really love the process and how the packaging is done. The store was set up beautifully. I think I will make a quilt! I wanted the experience of the butcher counter, so I said I may as well do it in case I never make it back.

I love the concept of the store, and the sales associate at the counter was super friendly and patient while I painstakingly picked through the scraps to find the exact pieces I wanted. I loved the variety available and found the packaging like a butcher shop to be clever and fun. I use it for a scrappy quilt. The quality of the fabric seems great.

During my time in Missouri, my favorite shop was Missouri Star The Butcher Counter. I loved the employees working there; they made it a fun experience overall. The color of the products is vibrant and appealing, which adds to the overall experience. The Butcher Counter offers a great selection of meats, and the quality is consistently excellent.

I have not utilized all my cuts, other than one 2 1/2 strip for a pillowcase.

Love the scraps. After getting home, I wished I had purchased more. I love scrap quilting.

It was great fun to choose fabric from the Butcher Counter. I love scrappy quilts and being able to pick up an assortment of fabrics in specific colors was great.

It was a fun way to shop. My non-sewing daughter picked out fabric to make potholders for her and her daughters. We both enjoyed picking through and getting just the correct amount for the project. This new addition to your stores is great! I just wish I was closer so I could shop there more often. (I live in California and only can visit in person when I visit my daughter in Excelisor Springs.

I loved the options to pick from the butcher counter with each color of scraps grouped together.
