Loved the color - wasn't that happy with the jelly roll cut

The colors of these fabrics are amazing! They are so intense and beautiful and love the way the color changes from one to another (green to blue, or yellow to red). What I did not like though was the cut. Frist, the jelly roll is "pinked" along the edge. Which does prevent frey - so that is nice. However, the teeth then are larger than 2 1/2" - the troughs of the pink are at 2 1/2. When lining up for strait stitching that is fine - however, I found it really challenging to find the diagonal...
