The colors of these fabrics are amazing! They are so intense and beautiful and love the way the color changes from one to another (green to blue, or yellow to red). What I did not like though was the cut. Frist, the jelly roll is "pinked" along the edge. Which does prevent frey - so that is nice. However, the teeth then are larger than 2 1/2" - the troughs of the pink are at 2 1/2. When lining up for strait stitching that is fine - however, I found it really challenging to find the diagonal line on 2 1/2" squares of it because they were actually rectangles if you were looking at the teeth. I am still in the process with this quilt and it had a lot of those 2 1/2" squares sewn to larger squares - haven't started assembling the rows so I don't know yet if I successfully found the diagonal line. Just added an extra layer of diffficulty. Additionally, the strips were cut on a slight bias instead of with the grain. I prewash (by hand) my batiks. I found when pressing the washed strips that they tended to distort because they weren't cut on the grain. That was also frustrating.
