The batting roll worked perfectly on my jellyroll rug. It was the perfect size and rolled out very smoothly inside the jellyroll strips. The batting held up nicely and the strips were easy to sew. I bought another roll for my next rug and bought one for a friend.

Most of the length is 2 1/4"

I was disappointed when making a jelly roll rug that the width shrinks to 2 1/4" for most of the yardage. The roll started out at 2 1/2", but within a few strips it was down to 2 1/4", and was noticeably thinner, as if it was stretched out to make the length given on the label. After having the same issue on the 2nd roll I purchased, I chose to order from Amazon, and those so far have been the consistent width of 2 1/2" which I ordered.

Convenient for rug making

I like the convenience. I'm using it for a long rug for the bathroom. I just wish I had understood the importance of having a LARGE, FLAT surface at my sewing machine. Necessary in order to make a rug without ripples and waves.

Excellent product. As I was using it, the strip kept becoming twisted. I quickly solved the problem with a magazine holder. By standing the roll in the box, it unrolled perfectly straight. I did begin to worry that I would run out of batting before the end of my jelly roll strip, but I had some left.

I'm using it for a Jelly Roll Rug. I bought a second pack to make four placemats. I would not have cut my own strips. It worked perfectly. It did not tear like some batting can.
