Kit wasn't complete
Both Missouri Star and the kit designer, The Posey Collection, need to actually attempt to make this item with the materials included. First of all the directions are a disaster sequentially. Different pages have contradictory information, and the steps are in an illogical order. Most importantly, it's missing a 6x6 piece of wool felt backing. At first glance, it seems the 12x6 piece cut in half would be sufficient, using one half to cut out the tomato pieces and the other half for the backing. However, what are you supposed to fuse the applique pieces to??? The "felt backing" they refer to is nonexistent unless you're supposed to use the piece actually meant for the ornament backing, but then you couldn't stuff it as directed. I ended up fusing all of my felt scraps together to provide that piece. This kit definitely isn't worth the money until all of these issues are remedied.
