Flying geese radiate outward from a center star in the cleverly-pieced Stargazer quilt block. There's no need to piece on point! To begin you'll need one roll of 2 1/2" print strips, 1/4 yard of light print fabric, one roll of 2 1/2" background strips, 1 1/4 yards of background fabric, and just under a yard for the border. You'll want to gaze on this beautiful quilt for a while when you're all through!

    its a good pattern,harder than it looks when Jenny puts it together. it is very "involved" and needs precise cutting ;I am mathematically challenged and i would like to make it 6 rows of 5 blocks and i am not sure how much more fabric i need (ie 22 x 2 1/2 in strips makes 20 block) i would like to make 10 more blocks , do i need 11 more strips? I am going to make another one as I am not happy with my color choices and i would like it a wee bit bigger. :-)
