I think you should add "5" to the title.

I am using old linens with embroidery on to make large hexagons. I thought a good ruler would be better for me to use then making one out of cardboard. I have collected the linens for a long time and am in the mood to start on this. I had carpel tunnel operation on my right hand which is healing nicely so I can soon start my project. When I finish this project then it is on to using my Mother's and Grandmother's hankies as well as my own to frame them along with some brooches they wore. Then I...

This ruler was confusing at first.

This ruler was confusing. I thought hexagons were measured by the length of one side, not the height from side to side??? This ruler measured by the height measurements. I can still use it, I just have to forget what is written on it and actually measure the side of the hexie I am using and then align it with the correct side on the ruler ignoring the measurements written on it. ??? I did watch a video on how to use it so that helped some.
