Kaffe Fassett Collective - February 2023 Darker Colorway 10" Squares

I used this great collection (at a great price) to make potholders for dear friends of over 60 years. Fifteen of us gather once a year to celebrate our friendship and I always make a little something to share. I used these vibrant Kaffe prints to create 10 inch quilted potholders, complete with Insul-Bright batting and Kona cotton backings and loops. Needless to say, they were a hit!

Made a throw quilt for a friend and loved the results. First time working with fabric like this that was so vibrant in colors and it will definitely not be my last.

I Love the Bright colors , they made a perfect border that accented the main character in my quilt.

If only I could get over my fear of cutting these beautiful fabrics. I love them. Don’t worry they will be used…someday.

It took me awhile to get used to Kaffe Fassett colors and printed designs. The colors and designs are not for the faint of heart! This layer cake is bold, vibrant and beautiful. I find myself looking at quilt patterns and imaging the quilt in Kaffe colors. His colorful details are a fussy cutter’s dream!

Kaffe always comes thru with such fabulous colors and patterns. No plans for the fabric yet as I tend to hoard his fabric 😂
