Kimberbell - Connected Stars Purple 108" Wide Backing

Turned the white background fabric to a light purple. I've never had a colour run this badly. Luckily it matched the quilt and I was still able to gift it. But I washed it eight times with salt, vinegar, soda ash, etc trying to fix the colour. Eight washes later and the colour catchers were still purple. The rest of this fabric is being thrown out.

Perfect for a purple and gray quilt backing! Love to find the 108 width to speed up the finishing of quilts. This fabric felt so nice and looked great for the back of a quilt I gifted this past weekend.

This is really pretty backing but I have washed it three times and the color catchers are still coming out deep purple. I don’t think I feel comfortable using it it bleeds so much. It has put me off buying anymore of this brand of fabric.
