Kona Cotton - Pesto 108" Wide Backing

I didn't realize Kona Pesto came in 108" width. This is perfect for a quilt I have been designing in my head!

This was more of a hunter green than I had perceived on my computer monitor.

This fabric was just as pictured. I don't usually buy fabric online, but I needed a wide backing in a solid color and this was just right.

I bought the normal Kona pesto and it was the perfect shade of green. When I saw it was offered in the 108, I thought the picture was a little light, but you know how it is - the pictures don’t do the fabric justice. However, when I received the fabric, I realize that that picture was very accurate. I guess more than anything. I’m just disappointed that in the normal fabric the Kona pesto is a dark color but yet in the 108 it’s a lighter color, which makes no sense. Thankfully this is just back...

This was the perfect color match to go with floral on the front.

I love Kona Cotton and use it on almost all my quilts. However, I was surprised when I received the fabric and saw that the actual color was darker and "greener" than the shade used on the website. It turned out that the color worked for me as I was just making a quilt for myself. But if a commission client had chosen this fabric based on the color on the website, they might have been very disappointed.

Nice fabric quilted very nicely.
