Size challenged

I love Kona solids and use them often. However, these mini-charms were disappointing. They are sold as 2.5" in size, perfect for making little 4 patch or 9 patch blocks, However, I needed to trim 1/8" from 2 sides of the white fabric each time I paired it with another pre-cut mini-charm. They are 2 5/8" squares, not 2 1/2". And trimming all those pinked edges is tedious and makes a mess!
