Local Honey Tiles

The fabric is gorgeous. The pre-cut tiles, however are not quite 10 inches square. Usually this would not be an issue. This time though it was. I used the precut to make a "Spinning Squares" quilt. The blocks for the quilt require an entire 10 inch square. This coupled with a Kona white layer cake that measured larger than 10 inches resulted in me trimming background squares down to exactly 10 inches and then fussing with scant quarter inch seam allowances to produce a 16.5 inch unfinished...

I love the colors and the the bees in the prints along with the florals. I’m making the quilt Jenny made in the video only I used the dark green leafy scroll fabric as the accent and outer border instead of navy.

Nice quality material and really pretty colors for main tiles and coordinating tiles. These turn into a very Pretty quilt.

I love the collection but I will say the fabrics are darker than they appear in photos. I saw the collection on several sites and they appeared very light. Another thing I would like to mention is the customer service at Missouri Quilt is amazing!
