Luminosity - Feather Ombre Navy Multi Metallic Yardage

Gorgeous color! Before it arrived I had planned to cut the ombre apart into distinct color sections, but the blending and movement through each section, from one selvedge to the other, is too beautiful to chop up. The only solution is to buy more of this fabric!

I'm currently making a quilted jacket with this and coordinating fabrics. This border print really adds detail to the piecing. The border of peacock feathers make the right sleeve very dramatic, but not too much. The balance of this fabric is incorporated in the rest of the piecing.I appliqued one feather for the lining of the left side for fun. I love these colors...so rich and vibrant. The fabric has a great feel and that bit of gold detail is delicious!

I love this Feather Ombre fabric because the colors are true-to-life, vibrant and bold. The entire Luminosity fabric line is just delicious.
