Block stars

I made the larger version of this quilt a couple years ago and love the effect. This was a fun one too. I did spend quite a lot of time on the "border blocks" but the finished product was well worth the effort. I wish I had snapped a photo after the top was quilted.

Versatile pattern

I purchased this pattern and many more at a great sale price. I love them all. They are easy to follow and some have tutorials, too. I am using my civil war stash for this but it would look great in any style fabric. I might make a second one in French General. You can also adjust the size. by how many rows you make.

Mini block star quilt pattern

This pattern is easy to use. I did this with my own batiks and made each side around the middle block different…not as attractive as the pattern indicated so I went back to the original directions with much nicer results.
