Stunning in sapphire, this blue-tiful version of the original Ruby Sensation quilt is made up entirely of blue-toned fabrics with a crisp, white background. A few of our most popular quilt blocks are combined to create a pattern that is totally unique, all focused on the center, a radiant version of the classic Missouri Star.

Exclusively for Missouri Star, this pieced quilt kit contains a pattern by Missouri Star and Kona Cotton Solid fabrics for the top and binding, including precut 10" squares, by Robert Kaufman.

Backing sold separately, 8 yards needed of 42" wide fabric or 2 3/4 yards of 108" wide fabric. We recommend Kona Cotton - Pacific Yardage.

I got the blue ruby sensation, but the directions I got were for the red so figuring out the colors was not easy

Blue Sensation.

I love this pattern, so I purchased the blue kit. I decided to make the pattern first, out of yardage I have in my stash. I cut according to the pattern and then sewed the blocks. When came time to put the blocks into rows, none of them came out to size. They were all short. Pattern says blocks unfinished to be 12 1/2”. Not 1 of mine were 12 1/2”, most were 11 3/4”. So I checked all my seams, and managed to make a few blocks 12”. No way could I get 12 1/2”. I still have the original kit that I...

Blue cotton ruby sensation kit

I haven't started on this kit. I want to clean and re-organize my sewing room before I start on this project. I would like to see instructions for various colors--ie: greens, purples, yellows, 3-4 colors, even a rainbow.
