Rich colors

My grandson wanted a map that he could lay on the floor and drive his play cars around on. I made this panel into a pillowcase with fleece on the back so that it would not move when he drove the cars around. he can put his toys inside if he wants to. The colors on the states look so saturated and almost like watercolors, It’s a really pretty map.

States I Have Visited

When I saw this I had to have it. I had been thinking about making a USA Map and placing a fabric on each State I have visited. This should be easy enough by tracing the states with fusible web and attaching the fabric to the proper State. My only question now is, if I drove through a State on my way to another State does it count?

This panel is so cute. I purchased 2. One I am using Steam a Seam and a backing over the entire panel then cutting apart the states. the other will be quilted and then my granddaughters can learn the states by placing the cut out states on the quilted panel.
