Prairie Chicks 10" squares

This will be the perfect quilt for a lazy boy in my sons home. He raises chickens and has bee hives so with both being in the package is perfect.

Received in bad shape

The fabric had been stuffed tight in an envelope and obviously mishandled. It arrived with all the corners folded up and bad ripples in the fabric. The cardboard backing didn’t do anything to keep the fabric flat. This is becoming the norm and it’s disappointing because I really like the variety of fabrics offered by MSQC but receiving it in this shape makes it difficult to use. The photo I have attached is what it looked like after I attempted to straighten the fabric.

This combination of prints are so cute. I use a lot of 5 inch charms so purchasing this cake makes it easy to cut into charm squares and get enough squares for a really cute quilt!

It'a a little on the thin, slippery side for quilt

Would you recommend washing the squares first before I quilt? I do like the measured squares. It is my first time purchasing fabric already cut to size.
