I fell in love with the hexagon!

I bought the Daisy and Grace quilt as you go templates for my slow stitching group to use for small projects. They come together perfectly! I will use these templates for a long time! They are the perfect travel size project! My first project was with the hexagon template. Each one has an underwater coral reef stitched and embellished by hand. I sewed them together with a ladder stitch and added a hand painted wooden mermaid as the hanger.

Makes it simple!

I have loved using these. I spent about 6 hours cutting enough batting, backing and front fabrics for 100+ hexagons. I’ve brought them with me as I travel, and they easily line up, sew up and bring joy with each hexi. It has been a FANTASTIC addition to my tool set.

I love them.....but you need to put more instructions in, I was particularly having trouble with the half hexagon. I couldn't get it to work properly, I finally found a video from the original Daisy and Grace that showed me what to do !!

The Big Set by Daisy and Grace

I have fallen love with the Daisy and Grace templates. I just finished two pillows from the big set and my sister loves them. Also, with just the hexagon template I have made several baby blankets and with scraps from another quilt I did a throw. FUN!!!
