Safety First - Masks Multi Panel

Safety first I’ve said that a lot to my children and grandchildren. Mask mandates keep changing at the moment no cloth masks. Bought a few of these panels and Cutting them at two and 2.5 X 2.5. Using those as leaders and enders attempting to eliminate waste of thread may be even an extra quilt top or flimsy.

I bought these to use for a quick and easy project in in a high school sewing class that I teach. We have been cutting these up and making cosmetic bags. The smaller ones are just as cute, especially the monster faces!

There are so many things that I want to use these for: zippered pouches, jazzing up plain gift bags, quilt squares, Halloween costumes. Ideas galore, Oh my!

I cut these up and use them in fun, wider strip quilts.

For the price, the ideas are unlimited.

I won't be using this panel for what it was originally intended but I'm going to make some reusable sustainable grocery shopping bags with the mask designs as a reminder of what we've all been through over the last few years.

I like the preprinted patterns. Two of my granddaughters want to use these to make small pillows or pouches. It will be a nice easy project for them as beginner sewers. They could be used as rice/herbal sacks as well.

My husband was in the hospital, and I had to wear a mask every time I went in. These made a cute addition. Even the nurses smiled at the masks.
