    grommets do not work

    The screw-in grommets in the hardware kit were unusable. Screws won't go through the thick backing used in the pattern. Customer Service told me snap-together grommets weren't available because the ones they used weren't working well for people. I had to order more expensive grommets and the tools needed to attach them from a different company. I loved the Joanna backpack and wanted to make more of this pattern. but that's unsure with the grommet problems. Very disappointed!!
