Great border fabric

I bought this for a border to go with the Scraps of Kindness precuts. It worked out great, picking up in the reds in the fabrics as I had hoped. So glad MSQ carries both the precuts and yardage!

Scraps of Kindness fabric

The color of the fabric is great in my log cabin quilt; however, all the fabrics I used (and there are approximately 21 different fabrics) are so loosely woven and ravel so badly it was a challenge just sewing and trimming ravels as I attached each log to the individual block. I used only $12/yd. fabrics. I am not excited about purchasing any more fabric until the "quality" has been improved. I am going on 91 years of age and have been sewing since I was a teenager.
