8 projects are presented in this book, following an extensive tutorial on using a combination of flying geese and stitch and flip instead of strip sets cut on bias to create Lone Star quilt projects. One is a stitch and flip table runner (looks like chevron) that would be a good entry level project to this technique

An interesting approach to lone star quilts. There are several patterns that I will be trying over the next few projects. Add to my technique and skill base.

I love this book! The techniques are different, yet easy. The quilts are beautiful and I can’t wait to make one though it will be so hard to decide which to make!!!!

The author has taken the intimidation and difficulty out of making lone stars. Stars are my favorite designs to quilt, so I am sure I will be using these new methods time and time again.
