Sticks N Stones Batiks Strips

I made table runners for two friends and had enough strips left over to make placemats too!

Saw this jelly roll and just had to get it…haven’t a clue what I’m going to do with it but a black and white quilt with maybe a splash of eye popping red? Hmm, maybe! Ok, so not only do I quilt, but i love fabric, so when I see something that cR he’s my fancy…welll…

So excited to start a quilt with this fabric. I fell in love with the fabric the moment I saw the picture , but in person even more beautiful!!

The Sticks and Stones batik strips are superb. Such great quality, and a nice variety of tones in the strips. Also the accompanying Naturally Neutral Batik solid (Platinum)....perfect! Lots of modern prints to work with. Flows light to dark or dark to light prints. Just right for a strip quilt top.

Not crazy about the Batiks Strips material. Would have liked a lot more lighter colors in them.
