Doing the reverse

I am using this backing as the quilt top. I will be hand quilting the "Queen Anne's Crown" with dark blue Americana quilting thread. This will be one of the quilts (wedding gift) for my daughter.

Because it is ombré, I will be using this for piecing a quilt top and for the backing. I love the variations of blues.

Ombre

Just be aware that this is an ombré that goes from very light to VERY dark. I was surprised by this when I received it. The color value range is much greater than shown in the photo ….That said, the quality of the fabric is great.
