Quilting Product Description

Sue Daley Designs milliners/straw needles are long and fine with a nice big gold eye which makes it easier to thread. These are beautiful to use. Perfect for everyone but especially if you suffer from arthritis, carpal tunnel or just have long fingernails. Because they are long there is no need to grip them tightly therefore eliminating any pain in your hand that you may experience.

Milliners 10 - 40mm
The larger the size number, the finer the needle.
Size 11 & 15 are the most popular for English Paper piecing and Needle turn appliqué. If you prefer a larger eye we recommend size 9 or 10, these are also used for wool appliqué.

    Sue Daley Designs Millinets Needles Size 10

    I'm a big English Paper Piecing gal. These needles were suggested many times and I finally bought them. Fantastic! They are very fine and glide over my papers when sewing my hexis together. I only wish I had bought them years ago! And, no more hand fatigue ! Great product!

    tiny eye

    Very nice needles, but the eye is so tiny that I can't even use a needle threader to thread them. Fortunately, I was able to pass them on to someone in my quilt group who has younger eyes.
