Works okay

I expected the Gypsy Quilter mat cleaning pad to be more sticky, or grip more. Works okay but I would recommend using it after every cutting session with a newer cutting mat as regular maintenance. My mats are older and probably too far gone for the cleaning pad to help.

Hurray, it WORKS!

Thought I’d give it a try

Bought this to clean my very old worn out cutting mat with a lot of fibers from batting. Worked pretty good with a lot of elbow grease. Then I tried it on my newer mat. Much easier to use and better clean up. The lesson here, clean after every major cutting and use the old mat for batting. Overall I was happy with my purchase.

Doesn’t get out “set in” dust as advertised

I tried this on a newish board (second use) after squaring a quilt. It didn’t get out the batting fibers that got stuck after cutting, even after vigorously rubbing over just the area with the fibers. I give it 2 stars since it does help with dust and dibers just on the surface without having to wipe down my mat with a damp cloth.
