I purchased this for my stash when you had it on a fantastic sale! Last week our 11 year old granddaughter wanted to stay with us over Spring break so she could learn to make a simple quilt. She’s currently in grade 5 and has been learning to sew since grade 1; beginning on my lap with very much guidance. I precut a charm squares for her out of my stash; Spiderman and Batman prints, along with coordinating solids. We used some of this tonal blender for sashing and also for the back. It worked...

I used it for backing on a route 66 quilt I have done

Quality of fabric is a consideration when making quilts for young kids. Fabric has to stand active kids, kids who might aren't potty trained, kids who throw-up and kids who drag their quilts wherever they go. Yup, beautiful, yet tough and this fabric fits that bill. Can't wait to sew up a new quilt.

It looks more grey than white

I love the tonal white-on-white fabrics and frequently use them for the backs of my large, colorful quilts. They make a nice contrast and provide ease to the eyes. Very nice!

I love it! I am always looking for light-colored batiks. This will work great for backing OR background which is probably what I will use it for.

I love this huge cut of backing! Haven’t had a chance to use it yet, but I did take it out of the packaging to inspect it, and it’s gorgeous . . . I’ll put it to good use real soon!
