Not 10" squares

I bought this layer cake even though I only needed 2 charm packs. I was going to make my quilt twice the size until I discovered that I couldn't get 4 -5" squares out of the supposed 10 " square. Also, the edges are pinked which made it worse. The layer cake is not made up of 10" squares. Very disappointed.
